2True Effortless Eyeliner Review

Shade 1 / Black

The 2True effortless eye-liner is more or a less an everyday product for me that I wear when I feel like putting on liquid liner. The first time I picked this up was purely for the fact that I needed a cheap liquid liner for my Halloween look, which I found at Superdrug (U.K store) for £1.99! I actually can't remember when it was that I began using it as part of my make up routine, but for roughly a year I can remember that I have not changed it as I've not needed to, even though I like trying new stuff I'd rather stick to this where I have little fault with the product. Although it states that it is a 'rich precision liner' I can say that if I came across a thinner and a more precise wand I would definitely try it out but at the moment nothing has caught my eye as I'm not on a hunt for one and I'm too comfy with this one. I can't say that I honestly think it is easy to apply because with its tapered-like-wand it is quite thick so I do spend a while trying to get it perfect, but then there's also some days where it just goes on so easily and without a fuss. The packaging no doubt is quite cheap as you'd expect for a £1.99 product but nothing that I am really fussed about and I even like the pink metallic writing on it. It has lasted me quite a while for an everyday product.
I also love it because it dries matte and it is also long lasting but not so much as 24 hours which is fine by me because again for the price I'm happy to re-apply which is rare. Overall, its an amazing liquid eye liner and for the price I can't complain and I'm happy to stick with till something exciting pops out - so let me know if I'm missing out on any excellent eye liners!

Any eye liners to recommend?

Weekend Wishlist

1. Waterstones | The Fault in Our Stars | £5.59
I have been searching for a good book for ages and finally I stumbled across a review on this book and I found so many more reviews that loved the book but without the reviews I was taken by the blurb as it reminded me of 'It's Kind of a Funny Story' - By Ned Vizinni.

2. Topshop | Mini Angled Holdall Bag | £36.00
I previously bought a holdall like this from Topshop also in a burgundy, cream and black mix of colours, very similar. I just fell in love with it as they are great sizes and the neutral colours will go with my style.

3. Jo Malone | Orange Blossom Home Candle | £39.00
The Jo Malone products, especially the candles are quite raved about as I have seen many times and it was about time that I purchased one as my love for candles are forever burning ;) so maybe who knows a treat :/ I went for the Orange scent because the citrus smell is one of my favourites.

4. H&M | Black Boots | £24.99
These plain simple and versatile boots will be amazing for casual wear or to dress down an outfit even but even better perfect for the rain but to me an all year round product.

5. New Look | Pink Double Pocket Mohair Textured Longline Coat | £54.99
Pastels for Winter are great, still showing your true colours can be quite fun during the dull season and I own very bright or dark colour coats nothing in-between so this would be perfect but quite expensive as I spent enough on coats last December.

6. Regal Rose | Noah. Antique Silver Rainbow Moonstone Ring | £15.00
Another item I have never owned - a Regal Rose ring I have my eye on many but sadly those of which that are sold out!! *Awaiting to be notified*

What have you been lusting after this week or month?

December's Glossybox: Christmas Edition

Hello Puddings :)
It's a shame to say I have not purchased a Glossybox since January 13' which I wrote a post about last years Christmas Edition also. I got an email from Glossybox in December about there amazing offer 'Two December boxes for the price of £20 *Including P+P and I didn't want to not pass them up on that offer! Although I had now come to realise that I got it wrong because I was expecting two different boxes one being a Christmas edition and the other being the January 14' edition. But no, the two boxes I received were identical unexpectedly for me I was slightly bummed out only till I realised at least this means I can enjoy what I like from the first box, twice. Looking at the plus side its more of a gain than a loss, especially when I found out that I got two Seche Nail polish's and both in great shades (Irresistible and Simplicity)!!  Totally my fault for not reading "Two December Boxes..." hence the "Treat yourself and a friend..." What a peanut!

It was a lovely gift from my other half after forwarding him the email, it was so nice to open after a year since my last one that I bought myself. The red box was a delight and the red trimmed tissue paper inside was quite festive and Christmas-y. I did think that for Christmas edition box it would have included some sort of festive treat like they are currently doing with their wedding edition. But overall I do love the items, I wear mascara daily as I never leave the house without it, so its nice to have a new one (or two) to try out. I tend to spend a good but inexpensive amount on my shavers/razors because they can be quite expensive so again lovely to try something new because I have used the same one for quite a while. The lip-gloss isn't exactly a riveting product for me because I prefer my lipsticks and especially in a matte finish. Like I've already mentioned I am in love with Seche and for the colours I received, I was so happy. Hand cream is a product that I keep in my handbag and try to use as much as I can but I also like to keep it cheap. Really looking forward to testing these beauties and I will be reviewing them.

I can't wait to see what lies ahead for the monthly Glossybox products and hopefully I will latch onto a box that I will want to purchase!

Did you get the Christmas edition, if so what was in yours?

New Year, New Treats

Happy New Year!

So its 2014 which for me has come around ever so quick, there's a lot that needs to be done this year but I won't reveal all just yet. One major thing is to get blogging and do some more blogging. Keeping on top of things and being more organised is a must! I know some people don't have 'New Years Resolutions' and think of it as empty hopefuls but to be honest, personally I don't quite gel well with the concept. For me, a race against time, not a patience one me.
Anyway I want to show you all the little and big things I have treated myself to this January *so far*. Its quite a random mix such as socks - because as my mother says my fetish's just keep on growing  - I'm sure last month it was hats :)

These adorable floral boxes that come in three different sizes were so worth £8.00 from ASDA. I bought them purely because I knew I would use them somehow. And as I already said I want to be more organised this year and one way to start is to buy storage :) haha so I did and they are so pretty in my room so far I have only use the two bigger sizes for my scarves and hats.

My fetish this week, or month are socks preferable black socks or dark coloured socks but with some kind of detail because for me dark coloured socks make my feet look smaller even if I am a size 4/5. Oddity, I know. Grabbed from ASDA at £3. On the hunt for way more.

My two new ASOS Jumpers! I am loving winter my absolute favourite season. *Minus the vicious winds and rain.* It's so easy to style Jumpers and Knitwear hence why I am still buying them I love the dark red shades such as red wine, aubergine, burgundy, prune, maroon and so on and so on. *I also purchased the burgundy Jumper in Navy*

Candles! Another fetish as I like to call them just like my mother does when she teases me about my non stop shopping splurges.
I bought my other half Umesh, the Yankee 12 Sampler Christmas Book Gift Set and I did manage to steal myself one. Although it was lovely that we both said for me to take some of the ones I liked :) I forgot so as for now I have zilch. I bought a couple from ASDA for £1 - I chose one and Ume chose one except I've still got both and both smell delish'. I then came across the new Febreeze candles that I couldn't resist for £2, I love the size of them too.

My two ASOS chunky knit scarves are my Winter favourites this month because I don't own any. I was looking for some cream coloured ones as I'm more suited towards black and neutral colours but failed. :(

Any new goodies you have treated yourself to?

Again, Happy New Year to you all x
