Lush: Creamy Candy

Oh my golly gosh... so you never guess what I found lingering in the back of my cupboard! Oh yes Creamy Candy Vanilla Bubble Barrrrrrrrrrrrrr - from Lush of course :)
It was only until yesterday that I needed a good hot bubble bath. I was so excited because obviously after my unfortunate experience with the last Lush bar/bomb that I had used wrongly, I checked it out on their website where I also read the reviews that were ever so enticing! So after checking it out carefully on the Lush website I knew to crumble it under the running water and look what a wonderful surprise a bubbly, lovely smelling bath :D

I loved the fact that for a few seconds the colour of the water went pink haha but the smell was divine like a mix of bubble gum and candy floss - so good and I love anything Vanilla as long as its not too overpowering and becomes sickly! Lush website states that ... it "has a blend of almond and cocoa butter" which I totally could tell from the feel of my skin after my bath I even sat there rubbing in of what was left on my skin after pulling the plug.

Some of the reviews said that they could maybe get two uses out of this but I think I'd have to disagree with that and say one bar was enough for one use for me, but I'm happy with that because I love lots of bubbles hence why I can sometimes use a whole bottle of Radox bubble bath (oops). I'd definitely get this again but first I must get the 'Love Locket'!!

Any Lush products that you are lusting over?

Review | January Glossybox 2014 - Back to Basics

Now that I have tested out all the products in last months Glossybox, I can honestly still say that I was not satisfied with the items. I was extremely excited to get this box seeing as I was so over the moon about the Christmas edition box but when I opened it the only thing I liked was the new baby pink colour but my box was a little bit dented on one of the edges so that was annoying. And then to then open it and see the smallest of items that just rolled around the not-so-full box was depressing. So anyway after such a long time of it sitting around in my room I decided to try out the products.

The Vintage Cosmetic Company Floral Slanted Tweezers - full size (RRP £8.00)
I love the cute, flowery design on these tweezers because they look quite pretty and girly compared to the cheap looking metal ones out there. As for quality they have a thicker piece of metal at the bottom unlike the ones I am using at the moment which I love because its easier and quicker to pluck out unwanted hair. Rating: 5/5

Balance Me Super Toning Body Wash - 50ml (RRP £10.25 for 250ml)
The packaging of this bottle didn't entice me at all and opening it and smelling the body wash wasn't appealing compared to what I've read about it having a 'lovely scent'. I wouldn't go and buy a full size product to say the least. Rating: 1/5

Yu-Be Moisturising Skin Cream - 2x 3g sample size (RRP £13.50 for 33g)
I wouldn't recommend this cream for a couple reasons. One of them being that it has a horrible smell to it, even though it states that the smell should disappear after a short while which it does, but even then I don't like the idea of having to rub it onto my face or on my lips, which are the two areas the cream is primarily for. The texture of the cream has a thick, sticky and greasy feeling to it that doesn't absorb into the skin quickly meaning I have to wait for it to sink into my skin before applying my make-up.  Rating: 2/5

Anatomicals Puffy the Eye Bag Slayer Wake Up Under Eye Patches -x2 (RRP £6.00 for a pack of 3)
I didn't enjoy wearing the eye patches for 30 minutes as I found it to be quite a nuisance when blinking as I sat and watched TV but, I honestly loved the end results! The area underneath my eyes had felt ever so refreshed (I loved that feeling). I would happily pay the full price and I would get over the fact that my bug my eyes when blinking. It was also refreshing to try something new that I have not heard of before. Rating: 4.5/5

Vaseline Essential Moisture Lotion - 50ml (RRP £4.99 for 400ml)
To receive a Vaseline product in a Glossybox was very disappointing, more so that it was a travel size bottle and a very basic cream. I don't disapprove of the brand but its just that receiving an item that is more out the ordinary would've been a better treat. So for me this was a basic cream that I probably won't even use as I have others that I would rather pack for travelling purposes. Rating: 2/5

What were your thoughts on January's Glossybox, did you receive different items?

Weekend Wishlist #02

This top rated eye cream has been on my wishlist ever since I saw it on so many blog posts and You Tube videos. I have currently been using M.A.C Fast Response Eye Cream, which has done me wonders as can see the improvements where my concealer doesn't crease and become dry. I have now ran out and would love to try this raved about product to see what the hype is all about.

I remember when this Palette was coming out and I mentioned it once or twice to my lovely boyfriend who decided to surprise me with it and even better, it was my shade! I have used it ever since but it was only last year that I began using this everyday rather than just using it here and there. I also put away my M.A.C Studio Finish SPF 35 Concealer that at least I thought I loved until I used this. What's even better is that I have used all the shades in this palette making it worth the price - (which I don't think is bad).

I wasn't even merely looking for a Leather Jacket, it was only since I came across this in the RI store and tried it on and fell in love and as I always tend to fall out of love with my most worn coats/jackets I believe it is the time to upgrade. Black leather jackets - so versatile!

I saw this mug in the Disney Store and I just think I fell for the colour more than anything. I love this Lilac colour, that's all I can say! Oh and that it would be so lovely for soups seeing as I'm not a hot beverage addict.

Lush always have something exciting when its an occasion! I was searching through the website and found this little cutie but it wasn't even the fact that it was a Valentine special more that it has little hearts inside!

It's a must to have a basic, sort of natural everyday palette in my make up collection because the ones I have currently are not doing anything exciting for me and again another product that is continuously raved about makes me want it more.

*My bad for the delay. Sorry*

I hope you all had a lovely weekend.

Wilkinson Sword Intuition Naturals Sensitive Care Razor | Item #1 December's Glossybox Review

Wilkinson Sword Intuition Naturals Sensitive Care Razor

Hi Beaut's I decided to review Decembers Glossybox as individual items simply because I have other ideas in reviewing them.

The one item that jumped out straight away was the Wilkinson Sword Intuition Naturals Sensitive Care Razor which I was truly excited for when I saw this as it was the first thing in the box that drew me to the razor! It was even better because it was a full size product and the packaging was even lovely. It was the most delightful thing in there because razors can be quite expensive and especially the good ones. At the moment, for a while now I have been using the Wilkinson Sword Quattro for Women Bikini Razor because it is a 2-in-1 product and I believe for the price I'd got it at (which was roughly half price or something - maybe £5.00) was worth it and that way I could keep the ladies department smooth and hair free as well as other areas such as my legs. However I found the razor part to be quite basic and nothing out the ordinary but it does give a good close shave. I then found the Gillette Venus & Olay Razor, again for a cheaper price when on offer which was moisturises and lathers up the skin when wet but the razor and refills are expensive when not on offer.

The product comes with an attached soap around the razor and that outer part, when wet lathers up the skin therefore there is no need for shaving gel. I am unsure about how many uses you can get out of this product though but I use mine every 3 to 4 days since I received the box three weeks ago. It states that it is a 3-in-1 razor as it shaves, lathers and moisturises which I believe so too and although I do not have sensitive skin I tend to find that my skin was a lot smoother and softer compared to my previous razors and I don't feel the need to moisturise. You don't even feel the razor on your skin, it is very easy to use and it has a very close shave. Overall, a great product, inexpensive and loved by many women.

Can be purchased from Superdrug and/or Boots - both for £6.49 (U.K Stores)

What were your thoughts on this Razor in your December Glossybox?
Any raved about razors that you love?
